Who We Work With

Working with Your Most Valuable Asset - People!

We work with senior executives, middle managers, and employees within private business. We help people and their businesses focus on reaching results,Wayne Simmonds (FBG Services Corporation) and Wayne Nielsen (American Institute of Management). setting direction, building techniques to increase success, and to prepare for the next level.  As a result, our clients overcome "challenges" more easily.  We do this through coaching them individually or in teams.

Like many of our CLIENTS, you might be facing one of these kinds of issues:

  • Revenues are consistent, but profitability is decreasing due to productivity and communication issues and competition.

  • A business that is growing, but lacks discipline to stay on the cutting edge of industry.

  • Productive employees who need techniques and experiences to take their success to the next level.

  • Employees who are uncertain of the direction of the company and need a clear, well communicated plan.

  • Employees that have been promoted into a leadership role, and feel mismatched or unprepared.

  • Employees who have attained a certain level of success and have hit a plateau.

Our clients come to us for many reasons, but mostly because they want to be more successful in overcoming challenges.

FBG Service Corporation

Letter to Andrea Fredrickson

Dear Andrea,

I just wanted to congratulate you on another outstanding Sales Seminar.
The “Return to the Basics” portion of your training rocked! I especially liked going through the steps of

the sales process. It was valuable for a salesperson like me, who needs to be reminded that there are definite steps in the process, and to forget one could spoil the sale.

The “Target Marketing” session was a bonus. I understood the importance of demographics, problems/opportunities and points of contact, but had never thought much about the psychographics of the people I’ve been attempting to help. This really opened my eyes.

It’s amazing how after working with AIM for almost six years, you still bring fresh, new ideas to the table.

Thanks for all you do to help FBG and me achieve our goals!

Scott Hess, National Sales Director, FBG Service Corporation

Regional and National Facility Services Management

"As a service company, people are our business and investing in their development is critical to our success.  With over 1,700 employees that are geographically spread, this is a huge job.  We began utilizing the expertise of American Institute of Management in 1995 at our executive level.  It wasn’t long before we discovered their services were exactly what was needed to bring our company to the next level.  Today, AIM touches every position in our company.  The trust level that has been built over the years between their team and ours is truly remarkable.  They are passionate about helping others be the best that they can be.  We are grateful for the impact that they have had on our success.

AIM has truly been an extension to our own staff and we are proud to call them a 'partner'."

Terri Gogetap, President, FBG Service Corporation

Regional and National Facility Services Management

"Andrea/Ivan: I just wanted to tell you that the Sales Meeting was without a doubt the best I have attended. The subjects discussed and the tools offered were all valuable and immediately useful. The phrase "where the rubber meets the road" leaps to mind. Pat yourselves on the back for a job well done."

"It is up to me and the other members of FBG's team to put those tools to work and make it happen. Thanks Again."

Oxbow Pet Products

“Oxbow Pet Products is a young (10 years old) and rapidly growing company.  Growth is still occurring at a 30% rate.  In the fall of 2001, it became apparent to me that the company needed to create the business structure that was going to be necessary for the company to maintain and sustain this aggressive growth rate.  Up to this time, Oxbow had no organized structure, no policy, and no procedures to guide the day-to-day process that included the efforts of 35 employees.   Through a referral from a business associate, I was put in contact with Andrea Fredrickson with the American Institute of Management.  Ms. Fredrickson was hired, and two years later, Oxbow now has a Vision, a Mission, a Management Team, policies and procedures, and quarterly/yearly strategic planning meetings that will enable Oxbow to continue its exponential growth.”

“Ms. Fredrickson was a ‘God-send’.  She came into a company that had basically no structure, led us step by step through this painstaking process, and helped us put together a viable plan that will help Oxbow to reach our full potential.  Oxbow either would have imploded or exploded without Andrea’s guidance.  As an inexperienced small business owner, I don’t know what I would’ve done without her mentoring and coaching.  I highly recommend her services to any small business that is looking for management guidance and/or a boost to their profits.”

No Frills Supermarkets

"Over the past seven years the team at AIM has been very helpful in our plan to develop our store management staff. We see more professionalism and confidence which translates into increased productivity, greater morale and lower turnover. The skills of our managers have been raised so that they develop members of their teams and can concentrate on what’s important.”

“AIM works with us to create customize training programs and classes. Some training programs we deliver, others are provided by the facilitators of AIM. The result of these classes and programs has been a better utilization of time, an increased awareness on customer service, and a focus on the development on the employees of No Frills Supermarkets.  These results allow us to retain and attract very good people.”

“We are pleased to partner with AIM to improve the skill and knowledge of our employees.”

Becton, Dickinson, & Company

"Over a year and a half period, we had had nearly all of our supervisory leadership complete the Effective Supervisory Management course offered by the American Institute of Management, Inc."

"Working with Timm Johnson and AIM has been a rewarding collaboration.  We knew that, although the core curriculum was sound, our business needs, organizational culture and structure would require some “custom fitting” of this program."

"Modifications and enhancements were made that strengthened the program for our organization.  Timm was flexible in his time, technique and follow through to allow for this program to meet our needs and expectations.  AIM devoted much time and attention outside the classroom setting to make sure concepts taught during the class translated to improved leadership behaviors and habits."

"The facilitative approach used during the training allowed for real situations our leaders deal with to be discussed and evaluated.   Having real examples to work with drove home the training and gave our leaders a more “hands on” application than simple case studies would.  These discussions maintained a high level of confidentiality and respect for our workforce."

"I also greatly appreciated the accountability method for self-study and application utilized during the training.  The pre-study of materials before each session improved the quality of the sessions and enhanced the learning and application of principles taught."
